Happy Monday all.
We’re back at it again. With CES(Consumer Electronics Show) starting up tomorrow. News has been flying around with all sorts of new products hitting the market!
First up we have the AR Drone. If you have an Android or iPhone. You’ve more than likely heard of this thing. It’s a helicopter of sorts. Run by batteries having 4 propellers to help it hover. They’ve just announced a 2.0 version. It has a camera on it w/ full 720p video streaming to your phone, multiple upgrades to the sensors to help keep it level, along with extended range where in theory it could fly up to 160′ in the air! It’s expected to come out some time mid Q2 with a price tag of $300

Do you have a Kindle? Do you need a cover for it? The company SolarFocus has just come out with a cover for the kindle that doubles as a solar recharging panel for your kindle. It comes with a built in LED Light that can provide light for up to 50 hours! It’s supposed to come out some time towards the end of this month with a price tag of only $80!
CES News? Lenovo has come out with a BIG BANG this year! Of all their announcements. The two that stick out most thus far is their 55″ TV which is built on Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich. The K91 is their first TV ever. It comes pre-loaded with 100 apps from the Android marketplace, and features a remote control with a touchscreen and a built in microphone for voice controls. Right now it’s only planned to be available in China, but I for see that it won’t take long for it to reach USA.
Lenovo also announced the IdeaTab S2. It’s a hybrid tablet that comes with a keyboard dock which was built to compete with the ultrabook scene. Like I stated in our predictions show. THIN IS IN!!!!!!
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Daily Geek report which I’m certain will have tons more from CES!
