Greetings earthlings, and a happy Wednesday to you all!

Ever heard of the app “Angry Birds”? Of course you can. If you’re reading this post, I’d put money on it, that you have. They have officially smashed the half a billion download mark. Quite impressive for such a basic game!! Congrats to those @ Rovio!

Sony announced today that they are forecasting a $1.2 billion loss for the 2012 year.  That adds to their total loss of almost $8.5 billion dollars in just their TV line-up! They don’t expect to return a profit until at least March 31 of 2014. Hopefully they have enough to weather the storm, especially when Microsoft releases their next console gaming system!

Google released their gmail app for iOS today. Just as soon as they put it up, it was pulled due to issues w/ their push notifications. If you follow any other tech sites, you’ll see some interesting comments on the app. Hey all you complainers.. Guess what.. Google doens’t have to make an app for iOS. They are doing you a favor. Quit complaining!!! (That’s an unbiased comment right?!)

Today  the first Grand Theft Auto trailer was released. Takes place in Los Angeles as well as other areas. See it for yourself here.

And finally, for some comedy. And proving HOW awesome social networking actually is. Today the Kenyan air force (I didn’t know they had one….) tweeted the Somali pirates.   “We’re about to bomb you  #duck”   Awesome.
