Yea, so… I’m a failure. But what do you do when that happens? You pick yourself back up, kick yourself in the ass, and keep on keepin on!!! Welcome back to the daily geek report everyone. Your daily news for things happening in the Tech World (I promise, I’ll try to keep this tech/gaming/nerdesque related).

On with the news!

Microsoft came out today and announced that even due to Windows 8 expecting to be released sometime this fall, that Windows 7 show’s no signs of slowing down. As of today, Win7 has sold over 630 Million Win7 Licenses. Up 30 million from last months figures. They mentioned that 50% of enterprise desktops have been upgraded to running on Windows 7 as well. (partially due to the life for WinXP Support is coming to an end soon.

Microsoft also came out and announced that they have acquired Perceptive Pixel, which is a company that does research, development, and production of multi-touch interfaces.
