Happy Friday everyone!!
Hacker news has been semi-quiet the past few months. Well.. Today changed that. Anonymous posted up a 16 minute tele-conference phone call between multiple FBI Departments and an England based government agency discussing information they had on a few people from lulzSec/Anonymous that they had in custody.. Some how anonymous was able to get the entire conversation. The only edit they did to it was bleeping out their names. Talk about a punch to the face to those trying to police the interwebs!! Listen to the phone conversation here
Anonymous for the 2nd time has hacked a Boston based police department in the name of #f*ckFBIFriday and in support of the Occupy Boston protestors. The first hack they did a few months back was in response to the police brutality. They had released a few hundred passwords for internal accounts. This time again in support of the Occupy Boston protestors, It appears the Boston PD has sent in people to infiltrate the protestors and steal things from them. Anonymous isn’t a group to just sit back and watch this happen. They completely took down the Police departments website.. Maybe this will be a lesson to them. That people aren’t going to keep putting up with their shinanigans! Anonymous’ Twitter stated that after this there was still more to come today. Turns out, they weren’t lying. They’ve released information on Marines who has killed innocent Iraqi’s (24 total) who got of with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Read more about that one here.
Planning on watching the superbowl on your favorite “free tv site”? Well. Hopefully it’s still up. Because the feds have siezed more than 300 websites that had planned on streaming the Super Bowl!
Have a great rest of your friday and a great weekend!!
