Google is getting a little fine sent their way…. No, not from Apple, or Samsung or any other big cell carrier. But by a french court it was ordered because their Google Maps is free. Google has been ordered to pay a $660,000 fine to pay for damages it has done to a French mapping company… Boo Hoo……. Google is going to appeal the fine. If it somehow goes through I could see this opening flood gates for Google to pay off other companies for similar damages!

Google is not well known for keeping their market place free of spy ware. Today they’ve added a feature called “bouncer” which will help scan and keep the market place free of malware! Thank you Google for stepping up to the plate on this and addressing a low vulnerability.. Now if people would quit downloading random “sexy girl apps”… We’d be fine..
