Happy Wednesday everyone!
Happy change your password day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What should you do? Go through all your accounts… Yeah I bet all of them have the same password.. Well.. Today is the day to change it up.. Our suggestion. For sites that you don’t care about (if someone hacked your account). Feel free to have a “basic” password. Sites that are more private or public that you don’t want to have problems. Create a password that’s unique to that site. I suggest something different for your Facebook, g-mail, and bank accounts. YES.. Each one should have their OWN Password.. so if one DOES get compromised. You’re only out one service.. they won’t necessarily have access to another.
If you have any sort of a Google Account, over the last week they’ve been rolling out messages to all of their users about their new privacy settings/terms of agreements. Microsoft is now starting to get vocal about them, claiming that they are “for the people”. I don’t totally buy it, I think they are doing their best to get traffic to Bing.. Aside from that. Some of the changes that Google has placed in are a bit sketchy, very openly worded on what they are doing with your data. Their goal. Ad revenue. More targeted ads for what you’re into. I don’t have a huge problem with it, I’d much rather see ad’s for cars vs. ads for make up or something like that. Microsoft is planning on putting their digs in print in news papers around the nation. Here’s snippets of what they are looking to do.
