Happy Tuesday everyone. Hard to believe we are past the midway point of January!
SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act). This is the news. Tomorrow Wikipedia, Reddit, and a quite a few other not so known sites will be going “dark” in protest to SOPA. There’s a few other big name players who haven’t jumped on the “going dark” bandwagon, but Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr all have vocally disapproved SOPA. Granted, you will still be able to get onto your beloved sites, please take the time to read what SOPA is all about and what it means to online communities. Once you’ve done that, please contact your state representative and tell them to oppose the SOPA bill.
