I always swore I would not get hooked on one of those stupid connect the tile puzzle games that are all over the app stores these days. Then one day I saw an ad for Marvel Puzzle Quest and I figured I would give it a try. I got hooked pretty quickly and I am now addicted. Marvel Puzzle Quest plays very similarly to other puzzle games like Candy Crush, as it has you sliding colored tiles to create matches of three or more. However the game sets itself apart with its two game modes (a story mode, and a versus mode), as well as with the ability to play with many of your favorite characters. The game makes good use of the Marvel license as it features a great roster of playable Marvel heroes and villains. Throughout the game you have ability to upgrade your team and to expand your roster, (this is a freemium game so you can pay to speed up the process or you can play a lot and grind it out slowly). Each character has three abilities that are connected to the colored tiles and by making matches with those colors you then use those powers against your opponents.

In the month that I have spent playing this game I have found that the game is regularly updated, adding new events and characters to help keep players interested and engaged. If you enjoy these types of puzzle games or you are a comic fan you will probably find a lot to like about this game.
