Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

I’d just like to start off by thanking Cafe Zia . They stayed open late to let us use their place which was awesome. And then I’d like to send out a huge thanks to all of our friends and family that made it out to the show!!! We had a LOT of fun and look forward to doing our next show!!!!

Onto the geek news!

Google has announced today that they have finally taken over/control of Motorola. The CEO of Motorola has stepped down and turned in the keys to Google. It’s still not certain what the purchase was intended for. Some claim the 17,000 patents that Motorola held is the only purpose, that they may be using it to create a new hardware company (which I’m sure would make all of the other OEM’s all sorts of happy), and then the other rumor is that they bought Moto just for the patents and would sell the hardware piece off over seas. Time will tell.

Will-Iam was picked to be an Olympic torch bearer.. He proceeded to run with the torch in one hand while…. Yes… Tweeting from his BlackBerry.. Really Will? You can’t wait until your short jaunt is over to take out that POS of a phone? Stay classy….
